Fuego De Dios -Part Eight- Block The Road

"Nation To Nation, all the world must come together, face the problems that we see. Then maybe somehow we can work it out. I asked my neighbor for a favor, she said later: What has come of all the people? Have we lost love or what it's about? I have to find my peace cause' no one seems to let me be. False Prophets cry of Doom."

It's an hour past midnight here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where 7 Churches were attacked (5 assaulted, 2 threatened) yesterday (Jan 8 2010). Eyewitness reports have also given reports of cars with Christian articles, such as the Rosary, were smashed and had their windscreens broken in Bangsar and Petaling Jaya. If you've just joined us Drive The Sensation: Fuego De Dios is providing a detailed step-time coverage of the incident and the aftermath.

Since 11pm, internet users in central Malaysia (via Twitter) have complained about not being able to gain access to international news sites that documented the violent church bombings yesterday morning. Malaysia's leading independent news source, MalaysiaKini also has been reported to be jammed and inaccessible to some. Internet speeds have dropped severely and rumor has it that it is to block access to further details about yesterday's incident.

Colinear with this interest, a church in Kuala Selangor was given a friendly warning earlier today at 6pm. News report below: Kuala Selangor an unidentified man walked into a chapel near Asam Jawa and advised the caretaker to be wary during this tense period before handing him a copy of the Quran.
It is learnt the incident occurred at about 6pm when the man met the Chapel Of Our Lady Of Good Health’s caretaker and passed him some advice meant for the parish priest.
He advised the chapel's parish priest to take precautions as it was possible the chapel could become a victim of attacks similar to churches in Kuala Lumpur.
Alan Pereira, the parish priest, said he took the man’s action in good faith and as a sign of friendship because the man had advised them to lock their gates and windows following the attacks made on other churches.
“This shows that not everyone is against us,” he added.
Police personnel who rushed to the scene, have recorded a statement from the caretaker.

In all this light, we pray hard and hope that the worst of this is over and all the damage has been done. It is time that we all rebuild what we have broken in concrete and in unity so that we may once again stand strong.
