Encore

"Drive fast until we crash this dead end life."
Skyway Avenue - We The Kings

I'm SO SO SO sorry i haven't updated for so longgg :(. Life got the better of me for a while.

Guess what. I performed an 11th hour rescue on my com to recover my files. I backed up everything that was anything to my mom's MyBook portable HD and BOOM! NTFS.SYS was missing.

Lost a couple of programs INCLUDING the webcam i just newly installed...tough luck larrr.

Another thing just yesterday. I was walking home from the Chee Chong Fun shop at the other end of SS2/66, and the old lot where SKY cafe and Burger King used to stang was washing out with soapy water. it was raining cats and dogs so to avoid slipping on the soap i decided to use the road. On the way down i slipped, hit the floor and was pretty much ok, until my curry bihun which was still boiling hot inverted over my arm, slammed into the ground and burst, splashing boiling hot curry all over my arm. 7 FREAKING RINGGIT worth of curry noodles just GONE like that. Bummer!

Anyways, i'm off now, nothing else to right. I'll update again soon. Pinky swear =)

Love,
Daniel

"Heads or tails? Fairytales in my mind"
Are We The Waiting - Green Day

It's been 8 years since their International Superhits! were compiled into an album and hijacked the billboard charts, 5 years since the legendary American Idiot was born, 3 years since the all too successful Bullet In A Bible DVD was launched, 1 year since Amnesty International published their rendition of Working Class Hero, and less that a year since the unlicensed bogus Malaysian mixtape Transmissions was released. The immortal politically influencial band formed in 1987 boasting three grammy awards. The band once known as Sweet Children. The band that expressed and painted out suburban life in song. The son of Rage and Love, the Jesus of Suburbia. My most favourite band of all time. The one and only,

GREEN DAY

and they're back.

Due for launch in May, this is one of the most anticipated albums of 2009. I am waiting ohsopatiently and i hope to win one of these. i still recall the schoolbook style nature of the American Idiot book inlay, the lyrics penned out in the order of composition, and the two 10-minute medley masterpieces - Homecoming and Jesus of Suburbia. The companion songs Holiday and Boulevard of Broken Dreams, the legacy of St. Jimmy, and the legendary American Idiot.

Unlikely as it may happen, if Green day is to come to Malaysia to promote and perform this album, i would give nearly anything to go. This is history in the making. NO OTHER punk rock band has survived so long on the charts, on the radio and in people's hearts, and just as you thought they were dead, BANG! - They're back.

I LOVE GREEN DAY!

The Love Story

"Knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said: 'Marry me Juliet you'll never have to be alone!'"
Love Story - Taylor Alison Swift

Somehow when i hear that song, I feel like I'm in love. Taylor Swift has magic in her voice. She rocks!

Love conquers all no? Let's wait till St. Valentine's day to see...hehe

Anyways, Happy Chinese New Year everyone.  I wish you all a prosperous year ahead and may all your wishes and dreams come true!

Just a few things. This is gonna be a short post.

First of all, so sorry for the late update. My com crashed twice this week, and I lost so many files. I downloaded The Tale Of Despereaux, watched it once, and lost it. It's a really great movie. It says that every girl dreams of becoming a  princess at some point in their lives. Somehow, I have dreams of becoming a princess too...I'm REALLY gender confused now, but heck, I'm still straight. After all, i'm i look to disasterous to be a Prince Charming.

Second, thanks to all of you who helped me find that balloon i put up in my last post. Never knew so many ppl read my blog and actually paid attention! haa.

Third, Qumana has shown it's bad side - PHOTOS. They're terribly troublesome to upload, and they need to be done on file hosting. Photobucket is forever slow, flickr can't link properly, i don't want wierd pics popping up in Friendster, and Boxstr is so frickin slow! Keeps jamming!

Lastly, i got a new phone. Haha. My Sony Ericsson W900i Walkman died one day before school began, and so i migrated to my dad's old Sony Ericsson J100i, which was a pain in the neck too. Eventually I took Scott's old Nokia 1110 and used that until i bought the beautiful, powerful and sleek Nokia 6210 Navigator. It's a really good phone. Got GPS and 3.5G too!

I let Scott use my mom's old Nokia 6680 to return the favour, his dad confiscated it because of SEJARAH homework. SEJARAH SUCKS!

Love and hugs,
Daniel
