Que Sera Sera

“Looking forward to the future, but my eyesight is growing bad in this crystal ball.”
Thanks For The Memories - Fall Out Boy

Somehow when my mom told me that Taylor’s was having an open day, it didn’t strike me much, until I went for it.

Turned out it wasn’t even an open day. It was a programme called College Life In A Day (CLIOD), and it was AWESOME.

First of all, college life seems boring to the masses. It sounds like lecture-assignment-lecture-assignment-lecture-assignment-blablabla-graduation. Personally, I was in for a surprise.

College life is an amazing contrast to the rubbish government curriculum. Now some folks say that it isn’t the A’s that get the public into the Universities, but the co-curricular activities that do so. Then why are we studying? Shouldn’t we be focusing more on CCA? Worse still, the Faculty of Failure (the dump I’m in) still is lost in the world of academics, like the deaf and dumb and blind leading the blind.

Mass Communication college students start their day at about 9:30 a.m., and when they start, the projects they’re involved in is really my dream come true. What my church, school, choir and COUNTRY needs are more mass comm students. I’m not saying we’re dungus in the industry (well, maybe in the case of school and country), but with the power of mass comm, we can take things to greater heights no?

Ok. Weather is killing me. Gotta go take an ice cold shower.

Another lil' advertlet
